I have experience implementing and managing digital, television and print advertising campaigns as support to marketing consultants. I also have experience writing and editing for print media. I’m a graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder with a journalism degree, a minor in economics and an international media certificate and the University of Denver Publishing Institute.

My passion for journalism started when I joined yearbook my junior year of high school, and being yearbook editor cemented the idea and inspired me to pursue a career in magazine editing. Working as an editor for CU’s online student newspaper reignited my passion for editing overall and introduced me to my first love: copy editing. My work at various publications encouraged me to pursue a career in editing and publishing.

My time at the University of Denver Publishing Institute, Morris Communications and Sinclair Broadcast Group broadened my experience as I tackled the worlds of the publishing, print and television industries.

I’m passionate about copy editing and AP style, and I love writing feature stories and profiles, telling the story behind an organization or person. I’ve been lucky to work with local businesses and marketing consultants to help implement digital advertising campaigns to bring the businesses both consistent traffic and new leads. While Chicago style isn’t my first love, I am also interested in working in the publishing industry. I’m also interested in food, travel and movie writing, especially documenting food from different cultures.
